Ocrolus publishes no price, and the third parties that fill the gap disagree with each other by a factor of ten. Here is what its own Master Services Agreement says about billing, what buyers report paying, and what applicant statement conversion costs if extraction is all you need. Convert a statement here first and see whether you need the platform at all.

Ocrolus does not publish a price. We read ocrolus.com on 16 September 2026, found no dollar figure on any page, and its /pricing/ URL redirects to the home page. Vendr reports a median contract of $98,250 a year, and Fintract cites a user reported $0.50 to $2.00 per statement, figures that only reconcile at tens of thousands of statements a year. The published contract is a one year auto renewing agreement with a 45 day cancellation window and a 5 percent annual escalation cap.
The pricing URL redirects to the home page. Vendr says the median buyer pays $98,250 a year. A competitor says $0.50 to $2.00 per statement. A pricing blog published on 15 September 2026 explains the billing units and then admits the quote decides the number. A small lender or broker trying to budget honestly is left choosing between a demo call and a guess.
Every Ocrolus fact below was read on ocrolus.com, legal.ocrolus.com and docs.ocrolus.com on 16 September 2026. Third party numbers are labeled as third party, because that is what they are.
One year initial term, automatic one year renewals, 45 days written notice to cancel, from MSA version 3.4 effective July 1, 2026.
After year one, rates can rise once per year with 60 days notice, capped at the lesser of 1.5 times CPI or 5 percent.
$98,250 a year and $0.50 a statement are both third party, and they only reconcile at 49,000 to 196,000 statements a year.
Fraud detection with an Authenticity Score, mortgage income calculations, human verification and Encompass integration.
What to settle before the demo, so the Order Form you receive is one you can compare with anything else.
The reported contracts imply thousands a month. If you are in the hundreds, you are not the customer those prices describe.
Fraud scoring and income calculations justify the platform. Getting transactions into a spreadsheet does not.
Add the 5 percent cap for years two and three, and remember unused Savings Plan balances do not roll over.
Convert a real applicant statement here on the free demo. If the output already does your job, the larger purchase answers itself.
People with a demo booked this week, and people who suspect they are about to be sold a platform when they need a file.
You may genuinely need Ocrolus. This page gives you the contract terms and reported ranges so the budget request survives review.
A few hundred applicant statements a month need extraction, not a fraud platform. Here is what that job costs instead.
Lender ready packages and catch up work need the transactions in Excel or OFX. That is a converter job, priced per page, with no annual term.
Ocrolus does not publish a price. We read ocrolus.com on 16 September 2026 and there is no dollar figure on any page. The address you would expect to answer the question, ocrolus.com/pricing/, redirects to the home page. The only routes forward are a Schedule demo button and a login. Every number you will find for Ocrolus therefore comes from a third party, and the third parties disagree with each other by a wide margin.
| Source | What it says Ocrolus costs | Where the number comes from | What it implies for a year |
|---|---|---|---|
| ocrolus.com, read 16 September 2026 | Nothing. No dollar figure on any page | The /pricing/ URL redirects to the home page. The calls to action are Schedule demo and Log in | Unknown until you get an Order Form |
| Vendr | Median buyer pays $98,250 per year, low $48,000, high $463,500 | Vendr marketplace benchmark, shown with a Vendr community insight note | $48,000 to $463,500 |
| Fintract | $0.50 to $2.00 per statement | Labeled by Fintract itself as user reported and not official | Depends entirely on volume |
| Addy, published 15 September 2026 | No figure at all | Explains the billing units, then says the final quote determines the number | Not calculable |
Read those two figures together and they tell you something the vendor page does not. Vendr median of $98,250 a year and Fintract range of $0.50 to $2.00 per statement can only both be true if the median Ocrolus customer runs somewhere between 49,000 and 196,000 statements a year, or about 4,000 to 16,000 a month. At the Vendr low end of $48,000 the implied volume is 24,000 to 96,000 statements a year. That is a lender processing thousands of applications, not a broker with a folder of PDFs. If your volume is a few hundred statements a month, you are not the customer those contracts describe, and the per statement figure you would be quoted is unlikely to be the one at the bottom of that range.
The price is private but the terms are not. Ocrolus publishes its Master Services Agreement at legal.ocrolus.com, and version 3.4, effective July 1, 2026, spells out how billing works even though it never states a rate. These clauses decide what a quote actually costs over its life.
| Term in the Ocrolus MSA v3.4 | What it says | Why it changes your cost |
|---|---|---|
| Initial term | One year unless an Order Form says otherwise, then automatic one year renewals | You are budgeting for at least twelve months, not a month |
| Notice to cancel | Written notice at least 45 days before the term ends | Miss the window and the next year is already committed |
| Price increases | After the first 12 months, rates may rise once per 12 months with 60 days notice, capped at the lesser of 1.5 times CPI or 5 percent | Year two can legitimately cost more than the quote you signed |
| Self-service billing | Invoiced monthly in arrears according to each type of Record processed, payable within 7 calendar days, by Stripe | A seven day payment term is unusually short for B2B software |
| Savings Plan | Prepaid amounts cannot be carried over from one term to the next, and unused amounts remain with Ocrolus | Overestimate volume and the difference is gone at renewal |
| Rejected documents | Ocrolus reserves the right to charge for Unapproved or Rejected Documents as a separate invoice line | A bad upload can still be a billable upload |
| Service level exclusion | Delays caused by a single file containing more than 350 pages are excluded | Split long statement histories before you send them |
| Support hours | 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays | No weekend support written into the base agreement |
| Data origin | Records must relate to applicants resident in the United States unless Ocrolus consents in writing | A U.S. only product by contract, not just by focus |
Two of those rows deserve a second look. The Savings Plan clause means that if you prepay for volume and use less than you bought, the balance does not roll into the renewal term. The escalation clause means a $98,250 contract can become $103,163 in year two and $108,321 in year three without anything changing on your side. Neither term is unusual for enterprise software. Both are absent from every third party pricing page we read.
Ocrolus is an AI document automation and analytics platform sold to lenders. Its own documentation breaks the product into four pieces. Classify sorts a mixed upload into document types. Capture extracts the data. Detect checks each document for tampering, inconsistent dates and amounts, abnormal fonts and irregular formats, and returns an Authenticity Score. Analyze turns the extracted transactions into cash flow analytics for small business funding and into income calculations for mortgage that follow Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and USDA guidelines.
Work is organized into Books. A Book is the container for every document in one case or loan application, and the data inside one Book is never correlated with another. Documents can be processed through the Instant workflow, which is fully automated with no human in the loop, or upgraded to Complete, where uncertain fields are routed to Ocrolus verifiers for human review. Complete is described in their documentation as the most accurate form of processing, and there is no upgrade beyond it. Accepted inputs are PDFs and JPEG, PNG, BMP and TIFF images.
You create a Book for an applicant, upload the statements, pay stubs or tax forms, and Ocrolus classifies and captures them. Results arrive in the dashboard and through the API, with webhooks to tell your system when a Book is done. Lenders on Encompass or MeridianLink can push results into the loan file, and Plaid or Finicity data can be ingested alongside uploaded documents so digital and paper sources are matched in one view. The FAQ describes exporting SMB analytics from the Book list, and a Transactions page where the normalized transaction data can be filtered and exported.
Yes, on request. The Ocrolus documentation FAQ says new users can request a trial through the website or through sales, and that trial access lets you upload documents, test analytics and explore the dashboard. The documentation site links a Start free trial button to app.ocrolus.com/signup. What the trial does not give you is a price, and the MSA notes that additional trial terms may appear on the registration page and are incorporated by reference, so read that page before you upload anything you would rather not have covered by an agreement.
For the buyer it is built for, often yes. If you underwrite loans at volume, a tampered bank statement is a loss event, and a fraud model trained across a large lending customer base is not something you can assemble yourself. The income calculators, the human verification tier and the Encompass integration save underwriter hours on every file. At 4,000 statements a month those hours are worth more than the contract.
The question is whether that describes you. A great many people searching for Ocrolus pricing are not underwriting 4,000 files a month. They are a broker, a small funder, a CPA doing lender ready packages or a bookkeeper who has been asked to turn a stack of applicant statements into a spreadsheet. For that job, the platform is machinery you will never switch on, and the comparison below is the one to run.
| Cost line | Ocrolus, at the Vendr median | Ocrolus, at the Vendr low end | OFXStatement Starter, annual | OFXStatement Plus, annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Year one | $98,250 | $48,000 | $294 | $894 |
| Year two, if the 5 percent cap is used | $103,163 | $50,400 | $294 | $894 |
| Year three, same assumption | $108,321 | $52,920 | $294 | $894 |
| Three year total | $309,733 | $151,320 | $882 | $2,682 |
| Commitment | One year, auto renewing, 45 day notice | One year, auto renewing, 45 day notice | Monthly or annual, cancel any time | Monthly or annual, cancel any time |
| Volume included | Set in the Order Form | Set in the Order Form | 2,500 pages a month | 10,000 pages a month |
| Seats | Set in the Order Form | Set in the Order Form | 1 | 1 |
We are not pretending these are the same product, so here is where each one genuinely wins.

| Best for | Lenders underwriting at volume who need fraud signals and analytics | Anyone who needs the transactions out of a statement and into a file today |
Read that table properly. Ocrolus wins the first five rows outright, and those rows are exactly what a credit team pays for. We win on price, on starting today, on not signing for a year, and on getting a file you can open. Our plans are also single seat, which Ocrolus is not constrained by. If you need fraud signals and analytics, get the Ocrolus demo. If you need bank statement extraction software that turns the PDF into rows, the converter at the top of this page does that now and you can test it on 15 pages before paying anything.
Because Ocrolus prices per Record type inside a private Order Form, the honest per statement number is whatever your quote divided by your real volume comes to, and nobody outside your deal knows it. What can be compared is the unit each vendor in this market bills on, because that decides which one is cheap at your volume. Ocrolus bills per Record processed under an annual agreement. DocuClipper bills per page on published tiers from $29 a month for 60 pages. MoneyThumb bills per conversion, where one conversion is a statement month regardless of page count, and its lender line on the same pricing page starts at $599.95 a year. Docsumo publishes no number and quotes a set up fee on top. ScanWriter sells a $6,045 workstation license with a $3,557 annual fee. OFXStatement bills per page at $49 for 2,500, which is about $0.02 a page, or $24.50 a month on the annual plan.
The rule of thumb that falls out of those units: per conversion beats per page at around ten pages a statement, a flat license beats everything above a few thousand pages, and a quote only vendor cannot be compared at all until you have the Order Form in hand. That last point is the whole reason this page exists.
The direct competitors sell to the same lenders and mostly hide their prices the same way. Inscribe publishes a pricing URL that returned HTTP 401 Unauthorized when we requested it on 16 September 2026, and its home page offers only a demo request. MoneyThumb is the exception among the lender tools: its PDF Server and PDF Insights products sit on a public pricing page that starts at $599.95 a year, bills per statement month, and includes unlimited free seats, though the individual tier prices above the starting point are not listed. DocuClipper publishes a full page ladder and is the tool most small funders end up comparing against a converter.
If your reason for looking is that you need extraction without the platform, our Ocrolus alternative page walks through what a self serve converter does and does not replace. For a priced roundup of the analysis tools specifically, read the best bank statement analysis software for lenders. For every converter side by side, start with the bank statement converter comparison, and for what we charge, the pricing page has every plan with no form to fill in.
Ocrolus is API first, with OAuth 2.0 credentials, organization and account level webhooks, an IP allowlist and a published breaking change policy, all documented at docs.ocrolus.com. That is the right shape for a lender wiring document intelligence into a loan origination system. If what you need is a simpler endpoint that takes a PDF and returns transactions, OFXStatement has an API as well, included in the Pro plan from $499 a month for 35,000 pages, with the price published rather than set in a separate agreement.
Ocrolus publishes no price, its pricing URL redirects to the home page, and the two most cited third party figures, a $98,250 median annual contract and $0.50 to $2.00 per statement, only reconcile at volumes in the tens of thousands of statements a year. The contract is a one year auto renewing agreement with a 45 day cancellation window, prepaid balances that do not roll over, and an escalation cap of 5 percent. If you underwrite at that scale, book the demo and negotiate on those terms. If you need this month applicant statements turned into OFX, CSV or Excel, the converter above will do that in the time it takes to read this sentence, and the first 15 pages cost nothing.
Ocrolus does not publish a price. We read ocrolus.com on 16 September 2026 and found no dollar figure on any page, and the /pricing/ URL redirects to the home page. Vendr reports a median contract of $98,250 a year with a range of $48,000 to $463,500, and Fintract cites a user reported $0.50 to $2.00 per statement. Neither figure comes from Ocrolus.
Ocrolus is an AI document automation and analytics platform for lenders. It classifies uploaded documents, captures the data from bank statements, pay stubs and tax forms, checks each document for tampering and returns an Authenticity Score, and turns the transactions into cash flow analytics and mortgage income calculations. Results are delivered through a dashboard and an API.
Yes, on request. The Ocrolus documentation FAQ states that new users can request a trial through the website or through sales, and that trial access allows uploading documents, testing analytics and exploring the dashboard. The documentation site links its Start free trial button to app.ocrolus.com/signup. The trial does not disclose pricing.
One year by default. The Ocrolus Master Services Agreement version 3.4, effective July 1, 2026, sets an initial term of one year unless an Order Form says otherwise, renewing automatically for further one year terms unless either party gives written notice at least 45 days before the current term ends.
Not during the first twelve months. After that, the MSA allows Ocrolus to increase its standard fee rates on at least 60 days written notice, no more than once in any twelve month period, and by no more than the lesser of 1.5 times CPI or 5 percent. A $98,250 contract could therefore reach $103,163 in year two.
Monthly in arrears. The MSA says a client without an Order Form who uses the self service portal is invoiced each month according to each type of Record processed, must pay in U.S. dollars within 7 calendar days of receiving the invoice, and must pay through Stripe. Prepaid Savings Plan amounts do not carry over between terms.
Lenders. Ocrolus markets to small business funders, mortgage lenders, auto finance, consumer lending, legal, Medicaid, tax and tenant screening use cases, and its own site carries customer stories from HomeTrust Bank and Eagle Community Credit Union. The MSA also restricts Records to applicants resident in the United States unless Ocrolus consents otherwise.
Inscribe, MoneyThumb PDF Insights, Docsumo and DocuClipper are the names buyers shortlist against it. Inscribe pricing URL returned HTTP 401 when we requested it and Docsumo publishes no price, while MoneyThumb lender products start at $599.95 a year and DocuClipper publishes a per page ladder from $29 a month. For extraction alone, a self serve converter such as OFXStatement is the cheapest route.
For extraction, yes. If you need the transactions out of applicant statements and into a file rather than fraud scoring and underwriting analytics, OFXStatement converts PDF and scanned statements to OFX, CSV and Excel for $49 a month for 2,500 pages, or $24.50 a month billed annually, with no annual contract and 15 free pages to test. It does not replace Detect or Analyze.
For a lender underwriting thousands of applications a month, usually yes, because tampered statements are loss events and the income calculators and Encompass integration save underwriter hours on every file. For a broker, small funder or accounting firm handling a few hundred statements a month, the platform is far more than the job needs and a converter costs a fraction of the contract.
